The uranium exploration target at Reguibat is 40 to 60 million pounds, with the company’s permits covering an extensive 8400 square kilometres.

Drilling programme, which commenced in November 2010, was completed in February 2011 with 2,169 holes being drilled.

Of these holes 2,022 were drilled within the Reguibat project and the results confirms the extensive nature of the calcrete uranium mineralisation.

The drilling covered all of Aura’s wholly owned permits as well as its joint venture permits totaling over 9,100 metres.

Aura’s managing director Dr Bob Beeson said the company has continued to intersect strong uranium mineralisation throughout its main target areas and is confident to establish a resource.

The resource estimate is expected in early July 2011 which is to be conducted by mining consultant Coffey Mining.
