The proposed Paris-Albers rebuild project is expected to run from the Paris substation in Paris, to the Albers substation in Kenosha, Wisconsin, US.

As part of the project, the company will string new wires and replace aging wood transmission poles with new wood and steel poles.

ATC senior local relations representative Mary Carpenter said, "The project is estimated to cost $12.2 million and is needed to help ensure safe and reliable transmission operations in the future and adequate clearances to the ground."

Upon receiving approval, construction of the project is slated for commencement in late 2014 to meet an in-service date of early 2015.
