Asymtek, a Nordson company, has appointed Soo-Uk (Alex) Nam as new Korea’s regional sales manager, and Henry Chang Hian Kwee as the regional sales manager for Southeast Asia. As regional sales manager, Nam is responsible for sales, service and applications engineering operations of the company’s line of dispensing and conformal coating products. Nam will report to H.S. Kim, Asymtek Korea’s senior regional sales manager. Chang will report to N.S. Ng, Southeast Asia business manager for Asymtek.

Both the new hires ensure a strong applications and the technical support network for the customers in Korea and Southeast Asia.

Applying his 15 years of experience in electronics engineering and semiconductor equipment industries, Nam will focus on market development, managing the multi-national accounts, and overseeing the region’s distributor network. Nam received his Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Computer Science Engineering at Hongik University.

Chang has over 19 years of wide working experience in semiconductor engineering and the capital equipment sales, most recently at Semiconductor Technologies and Instruments (STI). He is responsible for sales, service and applications operations in Singapore and Malaysia. Like Nam, Chang’s priority as regional sales manager is to identify the new business opportunities that help the customers attain their dispensing goals. Chang earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and received a Masters of Business Administration with honors at the University of Adelaide, Australia.
