Arrow Electronics, Inc. (Arrow) has expanded global distribution agreement with The Johanson Companies (Johanson), which includes Johanson Dielectrics Inc., Johanson Technology, Inc. and Advanced Monolythic Ceramics, Inc. This agreement adds the European and Asia-Pacific regions to the companies' existing North American agreement. The company can now service the customers with Johanson products through its primary distribution centers around the world.

Johanson provides specialized products that will allow the company to offer new technology solutions to customers. Its X2Y capacitors provide superior decoupling and EMI filtering performance and it can replace multiple components, saving board space and decreasing assembly costs. This patented new technology, together with Johanson’s high-voltage multilayer ceramic chip (MLCC) products, radio frequency (RF) capacitors, RF inductors and RF integrated passive components, and also Advanced Monolythic Ceramics’ custom military and industrial offerings, complement the company’s major semiconductor lines.

Johanson is a leading supplier of high-quality, customized solutions that are a good fit with Arrow’s other product offerings, said Jeff Eastman, senior vice president of global supplier management for Arrow Electronics. Johanson is a valued partner, and we look forward to working together to provide our world-class engineering and inventory management capabilities at the global level.

Arrow has provided outstanding support to our customers, said John Petrinec, chief executive officer of The Johanson Companies. This new global agreement is a logical progression in our quest to offer customers’ unparalleled support in their passive component needs.
