The facility employs latest renewable energy technologies including a 90kWp Solar PV system, a 6kW wind turbine, nine solar thermal hot water systems and nine heat pumps, to provide zero-energy cost business space to business firms.
North West renewable energy and energy efficiency firm Eco Environments played a vital role in the development of the park that is located on the old Britvic site.
The first tenants have already moved into the park and will save an average of £2 per sq ft on their rent, said the company.
Eco Environments director David Hunt said, "We worked closely with Armstrong Properties and Kingspan to ensure not only that the scheme was able to make use of the very best renewable energy technologies but also that it was delivered on time and to budget."
The park has been aided by the European Regional Development Fund.
