The German-designed plant is expected to be fully operational in six to eight months, once few tests are complete.
The plant has been built at an estimated cost of $2.4bn.
Once fully operational, the plant will supply energy to the power grid, which will be enough for the needs of four million people.
Other nuclear plants in Argentina include Atucha I of capacity 335MW and the Embalse plant of 600MW, reports AFP.
