The company said it now meets its processing throughput criteria of 1.5mtpa and expects that Toka will produce at least 60,000 ounces of gold during 2011, averaging about 150,000 ounces of gold annually over the life of the mine.
In addition to the Toka Tindung open pit, Archipelago has also begun open pit mining at its Pajajaran and Araren satellite deposits in Indonasia.
