The company said it has not come across ground water aquifers during drilling of monitoring bores thereby simplifying approvals for tailing storage facility.

Archer managing director Gerard Anderson said: "This is another milestone in the development of our Eyre Peninsula Graphite Project.

"We look forward to lodging our Mining Lease Proposal next month as momentum builds for the development of the Campoona Mine and Sugarloaf Processing Facility."

Securing process water and suitable tailings storage facility facilitates the company’s plan to expand the Campoona and Waddikee projects.

Sugarloaf processing facility is located on the company’s Sugarloaf property, which hosts Sugarloaf graphite deposit.

The facility will source process water from Pindari aquifer where an additional production abstraction bore will be soon constructed.
