The project team will assist Oman’s Public Authority for Electricity and Water (PAEW) in designing and implementing technologies, procedures and asset management systems, to further professionalize its water utility management.

The contract includes a comprehensive analysis of PAEW’s current information and communication technologies (ICT) systems; implementation of new ICT systems for customer service management, performance monitoring and asset management; and development of operations manuals and procedures.

Malcolm Pirnie manager Mohsen Mortada said that this project is a key step for PAEW to achieve its goals in the areas of customer service, staff development, utility performance and environmental stewardship, and will positively affect quality of life for its customers throughout the country of Oman.
