Under the contract, APTwater will design, build and operate its new nitrate removal technology on-site, in order to revitalize one of the CVWD’s assets in Rancho Cucamonga.
The contract will encompass serving drinking water to the Rancho Cucamonga Valley following the successful demonstration period and permitting process.
The company said its ARoNite technology provides a sustainable option for treating the commonly found toxic chemical.
The Rancho Cucamonga project is expected to improve water quality and supply reliability in the surrounding area.
