Anfield Resources has acquired 239 new unpatented uranium mining claims in Colorado, US from Alamosa Mining.
The deal includes 239 unpatented mining claims in 49 mining claim groups.
With this acquisiton, Anfield will have access to mineral rights on more than 4,800 acres in four districts within the Uravan Mineral Belt.
The company will now have 600 unpatented mining claims in 113 claim groups in Utah, Colorado and Arizona, and nine mineral leases on Utah State Trust Land.
Anfield CEO Corey Dias said, "We believe that there is a significant opportunity to both identify and advance targeted properties in Colorado in a similar fashion to what we have recently commenced in Utah at our Firefly Mine Complex".
The company is engaged in mineral exploration, development and production in the US and Chile.
