In 2008, the company added 290 mn BOE of proved reserves

Oil and gas exploration and production company Anadarko Petroleum has reported a net income of $824 million for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2008, compared to $265 million for the same period of 2007.

Anadarko Petroleum has reported total revenue of $3.81 billion for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2008, compared to $3.06 billion for the same period of 2007.

For the year ended December 31, 2008, Anadarko Petroleum has reported a net income of $3.29 billion, compared to $3.78 billion for the year 2007. The company has reported total revenue of $15.72 billion for the year ended December 31, 2008, compared to $15.89 billion for the year 2007.

According to the company, full-year 2008 sales volumes of natural gas, crude oil and natural gas liquids (NGLs) totaled 206 million barrels of oil equivalent (BOE), or 563,000 BOE per day, representing a 5-percent increase over 2007 sales volumes from retained properties. Fourth-quarter 2008 sales volumes of natural gas, crude oil and NGLs totaled 52 million BOE, or 569,000 BOE per day.
