AMI, Bristol – AMI’s next Oil & Gas Non-Metallics conference will take place in London on 12-14 December 2016. The event will feature a comprehensive two-day conference programme packed with expert speakers from around the world. It will also provide excellent networking opportunities with key players from throughout the supply chain during the opening reception, conference dinner, lunches and refreshments breaks.

Plastics, rubbers and composites play vital roles in a wide variety of critical components that improve safety levels and extend product life in many arduous oil and gas industry environments. Typical applications of non-metallics include: pipes, tanks, cable insulation, seals, adhesives, coatings, insulation, packers, hoses, liners and blow-out preventers.

As operating conditions change, so these components must be re-examined for their lifetime performance, including: behaviour under high pressures at deep levels; chemical resistance on exposure to drilling fluids, sour gas and pressurised CO2; and heat stability in high-pressure/high-temperature (HPHT) environments.

AMI’s Oil & Gas Non-Metallics 2016 offers a technical forum for oil and gas operators, engineers, contractors and material and equipment suppliers to debate the use of non-metallic materials in such critical applications.

AMI has once again gathered an international panel of expert speakers for this event. They will cover a range of themes such as: new application opportunities; innovative materials; advances in pipes and hoses; sealing technologies; and testing and predicting material performance.

Oil & Gas Non-Metallics 2016 is sponsored by Olin Corporation and Suprem SA and will feature a table-top exhibition area for networking between the conference sessions.

The full programme can now be found on AMI's website: www.amiconferences.com. The conference brochure can be downloaded at http://bit.ly/OGNM16.
