Duglas Alliance is a member of Dorado Alliance Group (Ukraine), a diversified company focused in project management and consulting services.

For the project, Duglas Alliance is acting as the general contractor as part of the deal where as Alstom Hydro has been selected as the hydropower equipment supplier.

Duglas Alliance will also carry out all civil works and organize the delivery of electrical, mechanical and auxiliary equipment.

Under the contract, Alstom will supply four Francis 50MW turbines, four generators, four regulation systems, four excitation systems and control system for the hydro power plant.

The company will also be responsible for erection and commissioning works of the power plant, which is scheduled to be commissioned by the middle of 2017.

Alstom hydro sales and tenders vice-president Yves Mourlaas said: "This will be one more project to be implemented on African continent. We are also proud that Alstom’s equipment will contribute to the raising of living standards in the country."

The Sendje hydropower plant is expected to become a source of energy for the continental part of Equatorial Guinea, with a capacity of 200MW and will be second hydropower plant commissioned in Equatorial Guinea.
