Carpenter Lake is located about 85km west of the past-producing Key Lake uranium mine along the Cable Bay shear zone, straddling the south-central rim of the Athabasca Basin.
It features a total of 20,637ha area within five contiguous mineral dispositions and the property is under an option agreement from Noka Resources.
Alpha, which is the operator for exploration at Carpenter Lake, completed an airborne time domain EM and horizontal magnetic gradiometer survey in February 2014.
The company has also completed a detailed, low-altitude, airborne gamma spectrometer survey.
Radon-in-water and radon-in-soil survey was completed in March-April 2014 and a boulder prospecting program was finished in July and August, 2014.
Detailed follow-up radon-in-soil and soil geochemical surveys were completed to improve targets identified from previous surveys in April and RadonEx completed radon work in September 2014.
Alpha will compile and integrate all the information from government surveys and historical assessment reports.
The company, which is awaiting geochemical data from work this summer, said it will evaluate and prioritize potential drill targets later this fall and will unveil plans for winter work once programs and budgets are approved.
