The order, which is booked under the company’s energy and environment segment, is expected to be delivered in 2014.
The freshwater generators will be installed on the oil platform in the Norwegian part of the North Sea to convert seawater into both potable and process water.
Alfa Laval Group president and CEO Lars Renström said, "This order confirms a continued positive development of our oil and gas business and it proves that our equipment lives up to the industry’s high demands on reliability and uptime."
Alfa Laval also supplies products to power plants, aboard ships, as well as to the mechanical engineering industry, mining industry and for wastewater treatment.
