Aleris International Inc. (Aleris), US based company engaged in aluminum rolled products and extrusions, aluminum recycling and specification alloy production, has appointed Sean M. Stack as executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO). Currently Stack is executive vice president, corporate development and strategy. Stack replaces Kevin L. Brown who recently joined Aleris in October 2008.
Stack joined Commonwealth in June 2004 as senior vice president and treasurer and continued in that role until December 2007 when he was promoted to executive vice president and president, Europe.
In order to ensure a smooth transition, Brown will remain with the company through April 30, 2009.

Demetriou, chairman and chief executive officer for Aleris “Kevin joined Aleris during a very difficult period and his efforts and commitment have been very beneficial to our organization.”
