Air Products has secured a contract from INEOS Bio to deliver industrial gases for waste-to-ethanol facility in the US state of Florida.
Air Products will deliver onsite oxygen, compressed dry air, and nitrogen to INEOS Bio’s joint venture project in Vero Beach.
The company will provide gaseous oxygen from a PRISM VSA oxygen generation system as well as bulk liquid oxygen and liquid nitrogen delivered to the site by trucks.
Operations at the bioenergy facility are scheduled to commence in the second quarter of next year.
The INEOS facility is based on production from non-food feedstocks, and is designed to produce eight million gallons per year of bio ethanol fuel and 6MW of renewable electricity from various wastes, including yard, vegetative and household wastes.
