Ester Dome is situated within the Fairbanks North Star Borough in central Alaska and lies six miles (10 km) northwest of the city of Fairbanks.
Agnico, Miranda’s funding partner at Ester Dome, plans to drill about 1,800m in nine holes.
Drilling campaign is created to continue testing a large northwest-trending soil anomaly associated with a cluster of granitic bodies intruding schist and quartzite.
The drilling program also plans to offset significant mineralisation drilled in late 2011 and will also test internal northeast-trending geochemical highs which may possibly indicates higher-grade mineralization.
