Africa Oil, an oil and gas exploration and development company, has appointed Darren Moulds as its new CFO.
Mr Moulds replaces Ian Gibbs, who has resigned to focus on his full-time role as CFO of Tanganyika Oil Company.
Mr Moulds brings to Africa Oil nine years of financial experience in the oil and gas sector. He is a US Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan where he obtained a bachelor of commerce degree.
Rick Schmitt, president and CEO of Africa Oil, said: We are delighted to have Darren join our senior management team. He brings strong financial and leadership skills to the company as Africa Oil enters into an exciting new phase of development.
