Adani Power official said “The company has successfully synchronized the first unit and fired the unit with crude initially on May 23. Over the next 15 days, coal would be used for firing the unit.”
Adani Power explained in a statement “Adani Power has successfully synchronized the first unit of 330 MW in a record time of 28 months, against normal time of 36 months.”
The plant has utilized boiler, turbine and generators produced and installed by Chinese suppliers.
The newly commissioned project utilizes big diameter Glass Reinforce Pipes (GRP) for conveying sea water.
