The project is line of an agreement signed between ACE and NV Energy to help NV Energy for meeting Nevada’s portfolio standard. The standard requires that 25% of energy be generated by renewable resources and energy efficiency and conservation programs by 2025.
Construction of the project will further help develop Nevada’s renewable energy workforce by creating more than 120 full-time temporary jobs ranging from engineering and consulting to general labor and the electrical trades.
