Acciona has previously acquired 93.13% of Acciona Eolica Cesa in January 2006 for E973 million. The price paid by Acciona for the remaining 6.87% of Acciona Eolica Cesa was agreed in the January 2006 sale agreement plus the Euro Interbank Offered Rate for the intervening period.
Acciona said that the acquisition puts an end to the litigation with the former shareholders. Acciona Eolica Cesa has 1,272MW of total installed capacity in Spain, Italy, Greece, Portugal and Hungary, and another 1,481MW under development for 2008-2012.
