The power project, which will include 19 wind turbines each with a capacity of 2MW, is expected to begin commercial operations by the end of this year.
The facility will generate enough energy equivalent to the consumption of about 40,000 Polish homes and is expected to avoid the emission of 77,625 metric tons of carbon dioxide every year.
The Golice windpark will be constructed with an investment of approximately PLN223m ($77.65m), and will be co-financed through the Social Cohesion Fund of the European Union.
