In May 2011, ABB said that Mincom brings expertise and experience in a range of industries, and a comprehensive set of solutions for applications such as enterprise asset management, mining operations and mobile workforce management.
Mincom has annual revenues of approximately $200m.
ABB earlier said it will add Mincom operations to its software business Ventyx and retain the Mincom management team.
