A-Cap Resources has identified two new uranium mineralisation zones from the ongoing exploration drilling at the Letlhakane uranium project in Botswana.
The exploration drilling on Prospecting Licence 45/2004, west of the Gorgon Main Resource area, has returned positive results with high-grade intersections being encountered outside the existing JORC Resource area boundary.
This newly identified uranium zone extends the Letlhakane uranium mineralisation 2km to the west of current resource and remains open to the south and west.
In addition, exploration drilling on PL138/2005 to the north of the Letlhakane project, has uncovered a new zone of sediment-hosted uranium that has returned a number of encouraging mineralised intersections.
A-Cap Resources managing director Andrew Tunks said that the new discovery, further demonstrates the potential of Botswana as a world-class uranium exploration destination and re-enforces A-Cap’s ongoing commitment to uranium exploration in Botswana.
