The Roanoke Expansion will provide for approximately 21,000 barrels per day (bpd) of incremental refined petroleum products capacity on the Plantation Pipe Line System from the Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Collins, Mississippi origin points to the Roanoke, Virginia area.

The expansion will primarily consist of additional pump capacity and operational storage on the Plantation system. With enhancements made to the existing system, the Roanoke Expansion project offers a safe and secure energy supply solution for the area.

Pending a successful open season and the receipt of regulatory approvals, the project will be in service by April 1, 2020.

Additional documents and details related to the open season will be made available upon completion of a confidentiality agreement. The binding open season begins Oct. 2, 2018, at 8 a.m. Central Time and ends Nov. 16, 2018, at 5 p.m. Central Time, though Kinder Morgan reserves the right to extend the open season as needed.
