Greatland’s first exploration campaign at Black Hills, which includes plans for surface geochemical sampling and geological mapping, is designed to determine the areas with the greatest potential for high-grade gold mineralisation and to outline potential drill targets.

A recent review of historic data highlighted the potential for high-grade, near-surface gold mineralisation at several prospects throughout the Black Hills licence including Saddle Reefs, Eastern, Rogers and Northern Granites (see announcement dated 21 May 2018).

Greatland Gold CEO Gervaise Heddle said: “We are very pleased to commence Greatland’s first exploration campaign at Black Hills. Black Hills represents a compelling exploration opportunity for the Company with the potential for several zones of high-grade, near-surface gold mineralisation.

“If results from this exploration campaign are positive, then it is our current intention to rapidly advance exploration at Black Hills over the next six months.”
