Godrej stated that this CCR is 95m tall and weighs about 703 metric tonnes, which is nine times heavier than a space shuttle.

As per the company, CCR Is an important process in oil refinery to convert low value naptha to high valuable products like petrochemicals and gasoline through various reactions such as dehydrogenation, aromatisation, isomerisation, dealkylation, dehydrocyclization.

The firm said that the reactor is a tall column like equipment with a catalyst that moves continuously.

Located in Lekki Free Zone, Lagos, Nigeria, Dangote Oil Refinery is estimated to be built with total investment of $9bn.

Dangote is constructing an integrated refinery petrochemical complex, where Euro-V quality gasoline and diesel, as well as jet fuel and polypropylene will be produced.

The refinery is expected to double the country’s refining capacity and help meet the increasing demand for fuels.
