European Wind Farms Denmark, a subsidiary to European Energy, has signed an agreement to sell a 25.2MW wind farm in Denmark to a Swiss investment management firm.

The wind farm is located in the municipality of Lolland, Denmark. The wind farm was commissioned in this February and consists of a total of 7 Vestas V117-3.45MW turbines, upgraded power mode to 3.60MW. The sale is conditioned upon the fulfillment of a few conditions precedent and closing is expected to take place in this December.

The sale will (subject to closing of the transaction) contribute positively to European Energy’s financial position.
