ERG, through its subsidiary ERG Power Generation., has completed the acquisition of 26MW wind farms in France.
The acquisition was made from Impax New Energy Holding Cooperatief W.A., a Dutch firm held by Impax New Energy Investors II, of the following companies: Parc Eolien du Melier SAS, which owns an 8 MW wind farm, Parc Eolien de la Vallée de Torfou SAS, which owns an 18 MW wind farm, Epuron Energies Renouvelables SAS, which owns a pipeline of approximately 750 MW at varying stages of development.
Included within the scope of the transaction is a team of 12 people with a sound experience in the development of greenfield projects.
Through this transaction, by the end of the year ERG will take its installed capacity in France to 300 MW, in addition to expanding and stepping up its organic growth path in accordance with the targets set in the Business Plan.
