Eolus has signed an agreement to sell a 30MW wind farm in Norway, comprising 7 wind turbines, to ewz.

The preliminary purchase price for the wind farm amounts to €40.7m.

The transaction covers the sale of all the shares in the project company that holds the project rights for the wind farm. Eolus will construct the wind farm and ewz will provide construction financing. The preliminary purchase price for wind farm Stigafjellet amounts to €40.7m. The wind farm is expected be commissioned during the second half of 2020.

As part of the agreement Eolus has been entrusted to provide technical, operational and administrative services to maximize outcome and production from the facility. The wind farm that is located in Bjerkreim south of Stavanger will be the first completed wind farm by Eolus in Norway.

The transaction is subject to fulfillment of a number of conditions before closing.
