We have given ConocoPhillips Norge (ConocoPhillips) consent for manned underwater operations on the Tor field in the North Sea.

The consent covers manned underwater operations relating to the connection of the pipelines from the Tor field to the 2/4 M facility at Ekofisk.
Tor
The Tor field lies in the Norwegian North Sea and was initially on stream from 1978 to 2015. A new PDO for the redevelopment of the field was approved in 2019, and the field is now being developed with a subsea solution based on two seabed templates and a tieback to Ekofisk for processing and export. Production is expected to start again late in 2020.
