Reports from Ulaanbaatar say that the construction of the Taishir hydroelectric power plant in Mongolia will be completed by 2008, according to the Montsame news agency.
Construction of the Dorgon, Orkhon, Ider and Urgench hydro plants will be constructed by 2011. These new plants will result in cheaper electricity supplies for most soums (districts) in Mongolia.
