With the final approval, Aldever plans to carry out transient electromagnetic (EM) survey (TEM), with a loop size of 1,200m by 800m in order to assess the subsurface conductive anomalies at site.

Upon completion of ongoing exploration programs at Key Lake Road, Aldever plans to start the survey within the next 30 days.

Aldever operates the project with 80% stake while Unity Energy owns the remaining stake.

Spread across 1,113ha area on the Carter Lake Corridor, an exploration zone is located adjacent and parallel to the Patterson Lake Corridor, the Carter Lake uranium project lies near the eastern edge of the Clearwater Domain.

The Carter Lake project’s principal exploration target is located at approximately 4.7km of sub-surface conductive anomalies, which was identified in a 2006 MegaTEM survey and a 2008 VTEM survey.

The two surveys were carried out by ESO Uranium.

In March, Glenmark Capital has completed a detailed geophysical interpretation of its Carter Lake Project to refine defined subsurface conductive targets for follow up with ground surveys and, if warranted, diamond drilling.

A total of 12 target zones were identified following 2015 Condor re-interpretation study on the Carter Lake project, indicating conductive graphic zones close to the depth of unconformity.
