This collaboration between AREVA T&D and RTE allows reaching faster the target set by the European Union directive for the decrease of CO2 emission.
Wind generation in France is planned to multiply over the next years, from 3GW installed capacity today. AREVA T&D’s system will be ready to connect up to 1000 wind farms and support the development of renewable energy generation. The solution is based on its proven e-terra product range which already operates wind farm supervision systems in USA, Portugal, Spain and Denmark. These Smarter Grids Management Solutions are designed for the operators to match the new energy market challenges: reliability, efficiency, environment, active consumer engagement.
