Panasonic will deliver engineering, construction and procurement services for the stations, which will feature a battery storage component.
The stations, which are expected to be completed by Earth Day 2015, will supply high power charging to vehicles and services to support the grid.
Upon completion, the stations will have a 6.1MW of power capacity and 2.5MW of EV charging capacity.
Each station, which will support up to 70 amps or 18 kilowatts, will be powered by on site photovoltaic panels.
The stations can generate clean energy for building use and have the ability to provide backup generation when a grid outage occurs.
