Village documents from Veolia Environmental Services of Waukegan reveals lower prices than Groot Industries. Veolia was offering $20.25 for unlimited pickup, senior pricing of $17.25 a month, and a pay-as-you-go option, costing $7.25 a month for recycling and $2.50 per garbage container.
It was very close to what Groot had proposed, so it wasn’t a substantial difference, Flynn said.
We have always maintained Veolia and Groot are capable companies. Groot’s experience in Mundelein and familiarity with the Mundelein area made the difference.
