Securing this project was important to Planet Resource since it was being conducted by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region III and funded with Superfund Cleanup monies for remediation.
WRScompass has been remediating contaminated soil sites for the EPA for the past twenty five years. Based on their experience they anticipated the job duration to take 4-6 weeks. The inclusion of PetroLuxus into the remediation project expedited the scope of work resulting in a completion of toxic sludge removal in six days.
Currently Planet Resource is awaiting follow-up reports from WRScompass, E2PM and the EPA.
