One of the reasons we expanded our bulk container recycling operation is because we see a growing supply of worn out collapsible bulk containers and a growing need for high quality plastic regrind, says Scott DeNoma, the co-founder and chief executive officer of RPP Containers. We invested heavily into this new facility so that we could meet our recycling customers’ demands for low cost toll grinding, high quality regrind, and very fast turn-around.
DeNoma explains, We’ve made the financial investment to promote sustainability as a primary corporate strategy. And at the same time, we want to work with other companies to help them meet their sustainability objectives. We do this by processing end-users’ worn-out bulk containers, recycling them, and keeping them out of the landfill. After recycling, we put the resulting plastic regrind back into the raw material supply chain to be manufactured into brand new products. The overall process truly makes RPP Containers a cradle to cradle operation.
