The company claims that the Hog Crusher is capable of pulverizing recyclable material in minutes, thus eliminating the need to have debris removed from construction job sites. In addition, it can reduce material down to two inches or smaller and can discharge up to ten tons per hour.
Warren Faler, product manager of Multiquip, said: ”The product saves contractors both time and money by eliminating the need to rent a dumpster and wait for someone to remove the debris at an additional cost. Not only does the Hog Crusher provide an on-the-spot recycling center, but it is a much more affordable way to keep a job site cleaner, safer and environmentally friendly.”
The company further claims that the Hog Crusher is an on-site recycling center, and compared to the costs of renting containers and disposing of waste, it is relatively inexpensive.
Featuring built-in forklift pockets, the Hog Crusher attaches to a skid steer loader or forklift. The machine has a one-half yard capacity, a 24 inch crushing rotor and has heavy steel plate construction. Additionally, the Hog Crusher uses replaceable carbide bits, a hardened breaker, as well as cleaner and cheek plates for on-site maintenance.
