While working for a US Biofuels producer, Imperium Renewables, he led the team that made the jet fuel for commercial test flight (Virgin Atlantic, London) in February 2008.
Mr Goodall, was most recently the vice president of Downstream Technology for Sapphire Energy. While at Shell, he invented SHAC (Super High Activity Catalyst) catalyst, which is used commercially to make polypropylene, and launched a new company, Promerus (now owned by Sumitoma Bakelite), in the electronic materials sector while at BF Goodrich.
BioCentric Energy has made renovations to the custom-designed sterile algae lab, which is now being deployed in preparation of the company’s new R&D equipment. A sterile laboratory is essential for testing, incubating and subsequently inoculating the company’s proprietary algae strains, which will be mass-produced in the commercial units.
Mr Goodall, said: “I am excited to become part of the BioCentric Energy team and the opportunity to bring this new photobioreactor and algae technology to commercial reality.
