The heat pumps exceed a 40 Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) at ground-loop test conditions and 50 EER at ground-water test conditions.

ClimateMaster’s new Trilogy 40 series uses variable speed and patent-pending Q-Mode technology to attain 60% annual energy reductions for heating, cooling and hot water heating.

The Trilogy 40 series also uses 30% less energy than current top-tier geothermal heat pumps, the company claimed.

Trilogy 40 Q-Mode, in addition to energy efficiency, also provides extremely high levels of comfort and humidity control by precisely matching its capacity to the heating and cooling requirement.

Applications of Trilogy 40 geothermal heat pumps are residential, commercial and institutional buildings and also used in new construction and renovation/retrofit applications.

Trilogy 40 units are currently in limited production, with full availability scheduled for late this year.

Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute provided certification for the geothermal pumps.

ClimateMaster is the manufacturer of geothermal and water-source heat pumps, while LSB is a manufacturing and marketing company.
