Under the contract, GEM will install and maintain AIRLOCK valves in two 31-floor towers totaling over 700 residences.
The contract is estimated to provide Midtown Miami with as much as a 30% annual savings in its water and sewer costs, which are estimated at over $1m annually.
The installation is projected to be completed by the end of April 2011, and the company expects to begin recognizing revenue on the project within 60 days following the installation.
GEM executive vice president Jason Edelboim said that by installing AIRLOCK valves, Midtown Miami will generate significant savings in its water and sewer costs, with no out of pocket expense.
