The chip designated with the UQCS Series is suitable for RF/microwave applications starting from 10MHz to 4.2GHz and has fine-grained, high density, high purity dielectric material to avoid moisture.

The electrode system of the chip has been optimized to meet high frequency performance requirements and offer lower equivalent series resistance compared to the existing versions of RF capacitors.

With voltages of up to 250Vdc, the chip can provide stability during changing frequency, temperature, time and voltage.

AVX product manager Larry Eisenberger said the chip provides lower equivalent series resistance and higher series resonance values, making it suitable for applications needing high current carrying capabilities.
