B&W PGG is an operating unit of The Babcock & Wilcox Company. The plant, owned by the consortium Forus Energigjenvinning 2, will be located adjacent to an existing heat and power plant near Stavanger, Norway.
Project scope includes a combustion system, steam boiler, emissions control equipment and auxiliary components. The new plant will be able to burn 70,000 tons of waste per year and produce 21 megawatts of combined steam heat and power.

Engineering is currently underway at B&W Volund’s offices in Denmark. The plant is scheduled to go online in May 2012.
