Contour’s new 2016 and 2450 lithium coin cells provide the small form factor, extended run time, higher voltage and ability to operate under wide temperature ranges required by advanced and next-generation portable electronics.
Contour sales and marketing vice president Joe Carcone said OEM applications in medical, consumer, automotive and military markets are seeking high performance coin cell batteries that can deliver optimal run times, long shelf life and high voltage to meet new product designs.
"Contour’s new 2016 and 2450 batteries address these requirements head on," Carcone said.
Contour’s new 2016 and 2450 lithium coin cells, featuring proprietary advanced materials, are a 3.0V battery that operates in a temperature range of minus 20C to 70C and a storage temperature range of 0C to 30C.
