The company will forward some samples of the bio-diesel to an independent laboratory to secure the government ASTM spec certification.

W2 Energy president and CEO Mike McLaren said, "We consider the timely completion of our bio-diesel plant, to be a testament to the hard work and dedication of our engineers, who have been working around the clock, seven days a week, in order to meet our corporate deadline."

"We now fully expect the 3rd quarter to be our first quarter of revenue generating production."

With an expected capacity of 650,000 gallons of bio-diesel per annum, the plant is will generate $3m in revenues for the company.

The company will look to almost double the production capacity of the plant to 1.2m gallons per annum and is negotiating with buyers to find a market for its fuel.
