First of the orders will employ Biorem’s XLD filtration media for an odor control system to be installed in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The system will consist of eight separate systems within an underground green-field waste water treatment facility.
The second order pertains to a biogas purification system to remove Hydrogen Sulfide from a large biogas facility in China employing a Biorem developed bio-trickling filter.
Biorem president and CEO Peter Bruijns said that the Asian region is in need of environmental technologies to clean water and air and that the company’s existing network and relationships in the region will allow it to be competitive on all projects requiring high quality performance.
