AECOM Technology, along with sever other business units, has won an IDIQ deal, valued up to US$945m, from the US Army Engineering and Support Center Woldwide Environmental Remediation Services.
AECOM is one among the eight business units picked up by the US Army for taking this contract forward. The deal has two years of period of performance, besides having three one-year option period and a maximum value, over the life of the contract, of up to US$945m. This deal is expected to bring in positive results in the sphere of military research and development for US Army.
In the first task order, the organisation has planned to offer planning and removal of unexploded ordnance and related material for the development of a new multi-purpose training range at Fort Benning, Ga.
